Re: Dvali

Yeah it definitely had nothing to do with his club (Gelashvili, Daushvili, Grigalashvili, Khidesheli, Kvaskhvadze etc. were regularly called up and played), but I think 'someone' had a personal problem with Dvali, whether it was Ketsbaia or some officials I don't know, but there was absolutely no ex...

Re: Georgia vs. Belarus /// Georgia vs. Spain

Barcelona and Real Madrid are showing interess in Loria... and actually I dislike this options, they both have goalkeepers, being in bench all the time would be sad. But this interess will also gives interess to other teams, I believe in Seria A could be another interesting option... let's see what...

Re: Georgia vs. Belarus /// Georgia vs. Spain

The pragmatic football counts only when it brings result. Thats difference between pragmatic football and "beatuful game" With beautyful game you can get support and fame even when you lose If you play pragmatic and still lose you are sore loser. Taking pride that its 0-1 and not 0-10 mea...

Re: Georgia vs. Belarus /// Georgia vs. Spain

Well, with that formation Ketsbaia admitted from the start that there was no other way of getting anything from the game, and I guess he was right...when you play against the best football team of this generation, and with so many injuries, it's probably best to recognise your limits and play for a ...

Re: One more scandal in georgian football-who is a champion?

while Zesta persident Kokaia went as far as claiming that there are only three teams in Georgia who aren't involved in fixing games-his own team, Dinamo and Torpedo, while rest are fixing all their games acording to him. He is correct. Actually, as far as Rustavi and a few other teams are concerned...

Re: Umaglesi Liga

What happened with Gogua? It's not that something specific happened (at least, not yet)... it's the general situation with him: his attitude stinks. His commitment is 0. In all the Dinamo games that I watched, I don't think I've seen him give 1 pass to a team-mate. He basically just does whatever h...

Re: Umaglesi Liga

So this is reality so far. Georgian League: 1. FC Zestafoni. 2. Metalurgist Rustavi. 3. Torpedo Kutaisi. 4. Dinamo Tbilisi. Georgian Cup Final: - FC Zestafoni. - Dila Gori. So now this is how I get it, if Zestafoni wins the georgian league and goes to the Champions League, it means Dila Gori will h...

Re: official: Georgia and Azerbeidjan bid for EURO 2020

Well, obviously I don't think we will come anywhere near to winning the bid, but the idea is nice. :smt002

I just hope that the investment into the football infrastructure will be delivered anyway.

On a positive note, Ananidze played well, and Kenia made his first appearance in more than 2 years, now that really is something worth celebrating...just hope that he can finally put his injury troubles behind him!

Re: Georgia vs. Albania

The second one was nonsense man, I would be absolutely raging if that was given against my team... and then it was offside as well. I wish we would sometimes get these kinds of decisions for us in official games, and not just BS friendlies... I hear this was the 50th victory for our national team, s...

Seriously, I don't know any more if I should laugh or cry about this shit...I wonder how much money it cost us to pay that referee, so the nation could "celebrate" this win. [smilie=rofl.gif]

Re: Kaladze retires from the National Team

Yeah I agree, he couldn't play anymore if he's decided to go seriously into politics. Actually, he should do the honourable thing and finish his career completely. It seems to me that he doesn't really want to play anyway, maybe just to make a bit more money to fund his political ventures... he got ...

Re: Some hope

Whether this is right or wrong, can be debated of course. Even in basketball, lots of Georgians hate these ministerial teams, but the nation as a whole is being pacified by the fact that these clubs represent Georgia internationally, more or less successfully instead of embarrassing the country on a...

Re: Some hope

Sandro you possibly don't know the story behind the Georgian army basketball or rugby clubs. They aren't result of some multimillion investment from ministry of defense into existing club. They are both teams organised by army, first for military personnel who wanted to compete at the tournaments at...

Chikhura will be there 100%. Poti/Gagra as well. All the other teams, depends on what they do with their squads during the winter break. I spoke to a few Dinamo fans, they all agree that with the current team, it would be very hard for them to challenge the Umaghlesi teams.
