irb ranking

Post by sandro war » 27 Feb 2008, 00:30

this is the ranking of 25 februari
1(1) SOUTH AFRICA 90.81
2(2) NEW ZEALAND 89.59
3(3) ARGENTINA 87.42
4(5) ENGLAND 84.96
5(4) AUSTRALIA 84.20
6(6) FRANCE 81.00
7(7) IRELAND 78.81
8(8) WALES 77.27
9(9) FIJI 75.88
10(10) SCOTLAND 74.19
11(11) ITALY 72.52
12(12) SAMOA 71.61
13(13) TONGA 71.51
14(14) GEORGIA 67.83
15(15) CANADA 67.25

we got 0,63 points mroe than we had in the previous ranking becaus we beat portugal.
we need to go above italy or scotland to go in the six nations tournement.
and the hole between us and italy in stil shrinking.
it is nog 4,69 points that is much but if we keep winning and if they lose much games in the six nations than we could pass them in a couple of years

It's not that easy I'm afraid.Look at Argentina they are great power in rugby world but they are still out of Tri-nations competition between S.Africa,N.Zealand and Australia. It's long way to go!At first we should as I said take a trip to Oceania region and compete with Fiji,Samoa and Tonga.

yes! would give a lot of points if we beat them i guess, right? and we also have to take a look around in oceania because of the next world cup in new zealand.
